Organically grown Parrot Gladiolus ‘Coral Crush’ features slightly whimsical-shaped flowers in a beautiful salmon hue with a hint of pink/red. It can reach up to 110 cm in height, making it a stunning addition to the garden. Additionally, it proves exceptionally suitable as a cut flower with an extended vase life. The funnel-shaped flowers bloom on both sides of a long stem, starting from the bottom and gradually progressing upward. Gladioli, also known as sword lilies, should be planted in early spring after the frost has subsided. Plant them at a depth of approximately 12 cm and provide immediate watering. While they tolerate partial shade, they thrive best in a sunny location for lavish blooming. Gladiolus bulbs are moderately winter-hardy, but covering them during prolonged frost is advisable. They prefer well-drained soil and may require some support during blooming.
