Our 100 x 100 concrete posts are the perfect alternative for the recessed post if you are after a lighter version. They have the precast holes similar to the 8’3″ recessed posts however no recesses for the rails so if you are using a gravel board, you will need to ‘pack’ the gravel board out to allow that feather edge board to sit on the gravel board. All posts reinforced with steel rods for extra strength.
